Minister: Armenia prevents visit of fact-finding missions to region

Azerbaijan’s historical art monuments are devastated in the occupied territories, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev said on March 26.

According to him, the processes in the territory prevent preservation, restoration of the monuments: ‘Our occupier neighbor devastates these monuments, changes their dates and unfortunately, we can’t do anything today. After Azerbaijan restores its territorial integrity, we’ll engage in these issues. However, we raise this issue before the international community. We wish fact-finding missions to come. We have appealed repeatedly. But Armenia prevents these visits’.
