In January-February 2018 the worth of products sold in retail trade network amounted to AZN 5.3 billion, up 2.5% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, in the retail trade network, the population spent AZN 2.7 billion of funds on food products, drinks and tobacco products, 2.6 billion on non-food products.
The population spent 45.3% of funds on food products, 5.3% on drinks and tobacco products, 17.9% on textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.2% on electrical products and furniture, 5.7% on fuel, 1.3% on pharmacological and medical products, 0.7% on computers, telecommunication equipments and printing products, 17.6% on other non-food products.
Per head retail trade turnover stood at AZN 271.6, up AZN 17.6 from 2017.
