UK supports OSCE Minsk Group efforts to resolve Karabakh conflict - envoy

The UK supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said British Ambassador to Armenia Judith Margareth Farnworth.

She made the remarks at an international conference on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in Yerevan on Thursday, APA reported citing news.am.

In the diplomat’s words, in order to make progress toward the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, the concept of achieving a pacific settlement and establishing peace needs to be strengthened within the societies of the parties to this conflict.

Farnworth noted that the UK unconditionally supports the OSCE Minsk Group efforts to reach a peaceful resolution on the basis of the Madrid Principles.
