A total of 2,691 Azerbaijani citizens are studying in Georgia in the 2017-2018 academic year, according to a report of Georgia’s National Statistics Office, APA’s Georgia reports.
Compared with the previous academic year, the number of Azerbaijani citizens receiving education in Georgia increased by 41 people, says the report.
Of them, 501 Azerbaijani citizens receive education in Georgia’s state universities and 2,190 in private universities.
According to the report, a total of 10,063 foreign nationals study in Georgia’s various universities.
The number of Georgian citizens studying in Azerbaijan is 14. All of them are enrolled in private universities.
