President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to increase the salaries of employees of a number of state-funded organizations.
APA reports that employees of a number of state-funded organizations—the Presidium and the staff of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Scientific Center of the National Encyclopedia of Azerbaijan, the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan, archives and their branches, district (city) state archives, Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, working group of the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, State Film Fund of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Foundation for Science Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Fund for the Support of Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Secretariat of Council on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Youth Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Knowledge Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism— have been increased by 10% on average from March 1, 2018.
