Changes are expected to be made in the interview stage for civil service recruitment in Azerbaijan, Maleyka Abbaszade, chairperson the country’s State Examination Center (SEC) told APA.
She said those who received certificates after passing the test exams for civil service recruitment will be eligible to participate in the interview stage for 5 years. Abbaszade noted that a schedule of exams for civil service recruitment is available on SEC’s website.
“The schedule contains the number of candidates registered for interviews for civil service recruitment. To conduct interviews, the SEC sends its experts to the country’s districts and state agencies their own representatives. But some candidates do not participate in the interview stage. And the majority of candidates do not take the interview stage seriously. They think they will be able to take part in regular interviews on the basis of the five-year certificates,” she said.
Abbaszade went on to say that the SEC will prepare proposals to make certain amendments to the legislation in order to eliminate the non-serious attitude towards the interview stage for civil service recruitment.
