Starting from Feb. 20, candidates or plenipotentiary representatives of a political party or bloc of political parties can submit the necessary documents to the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan for registration of nominated presidential candidates.
According to the Election Code, for registration of nominated candidates, candidates or plenipotentiary representatives of a political party or bloc of political parties shall submit the necessary documents to the CEC at most 50 days and at least 30 days prior to the Voting Day, before 18:00
In connection with the early presidential election scheduled for 11 April 2018, this period covers the time period from February 20 to March 12.
