Negotiations on a new partnership agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union are being conducted in a constructive manner and on the basis of mutual understanding, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said in an interview with RIA Novosti, APA reports.
The foreign minister noted that there are no serious obstacles in the preparation of the new agreement between Azerbaijan and the EU, but there are some divergent views on trade issues.
“Since Azerbaijan is not a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), there are also some divergent views on issues of tariffs and subsidies,” Mammadyarov added.
