In January 2018 the worth of products sold in retail trade network amounted to AZN 2,794,600,000, up 2.4% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, in the retail trade network, the population spent AZN 1,411,400,000 of funds on food products, drinks and tobacco products, 1,383,200,000 non-food products.
The population spent 44.8% of funds on food products, 5.7% on drinks and tobacco products, 17.4% on textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.1% on electrical products and furniture, 5.3% on fuel, 1.3% on pharmacological and medical products, 0.7% on computers, telecommunication equipments and printing products, 18.2% on other non-food products.
Per head retail trade turnover stood at AZN 285.7, up AZN 20.0 from 2017.
