Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tajikistan Hasan Mammadov met with the country’s Minister of Education and Science, Nouriddin Said on Feb. 6, the press service of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tajikistan told APA.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the establishment of the Association of Educational Institutions between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, the signing of the Protocol on the allocation of annual quotas between organizations, signing of the Memorandum between the Tajik Technical University named after M.Osimi and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University and other issues of bilateral importance.
Said noted that there are 39 universities in Tajikistan, and quotas will be allocated for the training of Azerbaijani students in the universities of Tajikistan.
