On January 30, Baku’s Binagadi district police department received information about a theft from an apartment.
The Interior Ministry’s press service told APA that the police took necessary actions and found that from November 16, 2017 to January 27, 2018, an amount of 57,700 dollars had been stolen from a safe in the apartment.
During the investigation, suspicions arose that the wife of apartment’s owner may have committed the theft. Therefore, the woman was detained.
It became clear that she gave the stolen money to her acquaintance, who has already been detained and handed over to the investigative authorities.
A criminal case has been initiated on the incident.
