Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) may hold a special session on June 8 to mark the 100th anniversary of establishment of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic, said Speaker Ogtay Asadov.
“In accordance with the order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, this year we’re going to organize a solemn celebration of the 100th anniversary of establishment of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic,” the speaker said addressing the first plenary meeting of the 2018 spring session, APA reports.
“Perhaps we will hold a special session on June 8 to celebrate the centenary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. There are a lot more issues awaiting us during the spring session,” added Asadov.
