All residential and non-residential buildings in Azerbaijan will be redesigned for people with disabilities.
This issue is reflected in the new bill on protection of the rights of people with disabilities, which was tabled in the first reading of the meeting of the Parliament’s Labor and Social Policy Committee on Jan. 25, APA reports.
The term "universal design" in the bill implies giving the necessary a special design to residential buildings, offices and catering facilities for residence and free movement of people with disabilities.
