Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade visit the Turkish city of Istanbul on Jan. 26, the CMO’s press service told APA.
During the visit Pashazade will take part in an international conference on Jerusalem (Al-Quds) to be held in Istanbul on January 29-30.
The CMO chairman is scheduled to address the opening ceremony of the conference.
Well-known scientists and religious figures from Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, India, Malaysia, England, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Tatarstan (RF), Morocco, Indonesia, Uganda, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mauritania, Somalia, Djibouti and Tanzania are expected to attend the conference to be held under the auspices of the Turkish government.
