A special state program is being prepared for disabled people in Azerbaijan.
This is according to Article 11 (individual rehabilitation program) of the new bill on protection of the rights of people with disabilities, APA reports.
It is noted in the Individual Rehabilitation Program, designed to improve medical, vocational, psychological and pedagogical rehabilitation and social skills of disabled people, that the relevant executive authority is responsible for providing social and psychological assessment of children at an early age as well as later in life, identifying developmental characteristics, providing necessary advice to children under the age of 18 and their legal representatives.
The draft law will be tabled at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Labor and Social Policy meeting to be held on January 25.
