IBA’s restructuring was completed at the end of 2017 and included foreign-debt exchange and finalization of bad assets transfer, Moody’s told APA-Economics.
‘Following its completion IBA restored capital position, asset quality and improved funding structure. However, there are still challenges related to the bank’s further development, lending growth and improvement in core recurring profitability, as well as hedging of existing open FX position’, the agency said.
