Azerbaijan is developing every year thanks to the well-thought-out policy of President Ilham Aliyev, said Nazim Ibrahimov, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, APA reports.
He said that the Azerbaijani diaspora should contribute to the promotion of Azerbaijan and fulfill all the tasks that are necessary to convey to the world the truth about Azerbaijan.
“Our state has created all the necessary conditions for the activities of Azerbaijani diaspora organizations,” said Ibrahimov.
Azerbaijan has its say in global politics as an independent state, stressed the committee chairman, adding. “Thus, the influence of Azerbaijanis living abroad began to grow”.
The staff of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora today visited the graves of national leader Heydar Aliyev and academician Zarifa Aliyeva in the Alley of Honor.
