Azerbaijani embassy in the Kingdom of Netherlands held an event on the occasion of December 31 – International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis in Hague.
APA reports that the event was attended by Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the Netherlands, president of the Congress of European Azerbaijanis, Sahil Gasimov, representatives of Diaspora and figures of local art.
Information about Azerbaijan was given at the event. It was noted that On December 16, 1991, the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, Heydar Aliyev, declared December 31 as the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day. Every year on 31 December Azerbaijanis celebrate this day proudly.
