First Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyafat Asgarov said that the resolutions such as the one adopted by the European Union are the result of the correct foreign policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev.
Asgarov made the remarks while commenting on the resolution adopted by the European Union on recognition of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, APA reported.
“EU has already realized that there is no guarantee for stability in other countries without recognition of the territorial integrity of states. There must be an equal approach to all countries. Different approaches harm Europe itself,” Asgarov said adding that it is the EU's commitment to recognize and support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
