Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu on Thursday said the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) is not targeting only Turkey but is “dynamite” under the countries in which it operates, APA reports quoting Anadolu agency.

Cavusoglu's remarks came during his official visit to Macedonia where he participated in the opening ceremony of the renovated Gostivar Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Primary School by the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) and the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB).

Addressing the crowd, Cavusoglu said it was a humanitarian mission to warn other country’s officials about FETO.

"FETO is not an organization which just targeted Turkey on July 15 [2016]…Today it is dynamite placed under the countries in which FETO carries out its activities.

“It is our human duty to warn people before this dynamite explodes. This is a terrorist organization based on intelligence. Be sure that they are carrying out these dark activities in every country they have people in.”

Cavusoglu recalled that on the night of July 15, 2016, the Turkish nation under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan bravely and decisively stopped the bloody coup attempted.

"If our nation did not stop the coup attempt, a nation would have been destroyed, a country would have been invaded, and a government would have been occupied.

“We do not want any other country to experience what we suffered on July 15. Our warning and alerts are our only disclaimer to serve this humanitarian mission," Cavusoglu said.

TIKA carried out intensive restoration and renovation on Gostivar Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Primary School which has more than a thousand registered students receiving education in the Turkish, Macedonian and Albanian languages. The cost of the project is over €1 million ($1.1 million).

Cavusoglu on Wednesday attended opening ceremonies for other TIKA projects in Gagauzia, an autonomous territorial unit in Moldova.

Visiting the capital city Komrat and Ceadir-Lunga city, Cavusoglu emphasized that Turkey is always with those who need help regardless of their ethnic identity, language or religion.

Turkey is carrying out extensive projects in Gagauzia, such as building a nursing home for elderly people, a hospital with a capacity for 4,000 patients, a youth center, stream reclamation works and many others.
