Azerbaijan sees the Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process (HoA IP) as an important process of dialogue and cooperation, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The president made the remarks at the 7th Ministerial Conference, titled “Security and Economic Connectivity towards a Strengthened Heart of Asia Region”, which was held as part of the Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process in Baku on Dec. 1, APA reported.
He noted that this process will contribute to the development of Afghanistan.
“Recognition of borders at the international level and their protection is the main condition of security in the region and a factor that ensures global security. This is also the basis of the Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process and is reflected in the ministers’ statement,” added Ilham Aliyev.
