President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated his Romanian counterpart Klaus Werner Iohannis on his country’s national holiday.
The letter reads as follows:
"Dear Mr. President, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people, I sincerely congratulate You and all your people on the occasion of Romania’s national holiday – Great Union Day. Azerbaijan and Romania are linked with strategic partnership relations. I believe that our expanding friendly relations, bilateral and multilateral cooperation will continue to contribute to the prosperity of our countries and to the welfare of our peoples. On this remarkable day, I extend to You my sincere wishes and for the friendly Romanian people peace and prosperity.”
