Georgia sees 5.7% economic growth in October

The economic growth in Georgia amounted to 5.7 percent in October 2017, the National Statistics Office of Georgia reported.

The GDP growth is increased by 4.9% in first ten months of 2017.

The economic growth was recorded mainly in the hotels and restaurants, production, trade and transport industries in October.

As for other economic indicators, monthly inflation was 0.8%. Consumer prices rose by 1.1% compared to September.

Foreign trade indicators from January till October increased by 12.7% compared to last year.

In October 2017, some 5,468 enterprises registered in Georgia, which is more than 48.5% compared to 2016.

Revenues of the state budget amounted to 833.1 million lari and expenditures - 807.1 million lari.
