A final declaration of the Eastern Partnership summit will be signed tomorrow afternoon, EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn told participants of a press tour organized as part of the Eastern Partnership summit, an APA correspondent reported from Brussels.
“Not only will we find an agreement, but we are also very confident that tomorrow afternoon we will adopt a final declaration,” said the commissioner.
As regards the delay in discussions over the agreeing of the final declaration of the Eastern Partnership summit, Hahn said it is characteristic of summits that final declarations are subject to discussions until the last minute.
“We will sign the final declaration, which, of course, is not making everybody a hundred percent happy, but covers the interests of 28 EU member states and 6 EaP countries,” added the commissioner.
