Marneuli new head executive to take office on November 12

Temur Abazov, the newly elected executive head of Georgia’s Marneuli district, where Azerbaijanis live densely, will take his office on November 12, the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) said.

According to APA’s local bureau, along with Abazov, the newly elected 58 mayors and heads of executive power will execute their powers since the appointed date.

According to the results of local self-government elections held in Georgia on October 21, Temur Abazov was elected head of Marneuli district executive power with 69.71 per cent of the vote.
