Baku City Main Police Department warns Musavat Party

The Baku City Main Police Department has warned the Musavat party against holding a picket today outside the Baku City Executive Authority.

Deputy Chief of the Main Department, police general major Sahlab Baghirov told APA that any unsanctioned action in the capital is unacceptable.

"Any action or picket that has not been sanctioned by the Baku City Executive Authority will not be permitted. Anyone attempting to hold an unsanctioned picket in the capital, violating the law and public order, will be prevented. Those who initiate such an action will be brought to justice,”

Baghirov called on the organizers of the picket to comply with the law.

It is noteworthy that the Musavat Party had requested permit to hold a picket outside the building of the Baku City Executive Authority at 15:00 on November 3. However, the request was not approved by the Baku City Executive Authority.

The Musavat Party called the decision illegal and insisted that it will hold a picket at 16:00 outside the building of the Baku City Executive Authority.
