The presentation of the first volume of a book dealing with the history of relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic from the 14th century to the year 2015 was held at the Czech Embassy in Azerbaijan on Wednesday, APA reported.
Addressing the presentation ceremony, Petr Vágner, Deputy Head of Mission at the Czech Embassy, said the book consists of archive materials and is not fully ready yet.
According to him, Czech and Azerbaijani historian are working together on the book, noting that historians have used official documents of the Azerbaijani government and political documents.
Vágner said work on the book’s second volume is expected to end this year, adding that the official presentation of the book is to be held in June next year.
“The book will be published in Czech, Azerbaijani, and English. We have not yet chosen a title for the book. It will most likely be a political title,” he added.
