Friendship, brotherhood and unity between Azerbaijan and Turkey stand at the highest level, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said on Tuesday.
The president made the remarks at a press conference following the 6th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Baku, APA reported.
“Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are at the highest level. There are no other countries in the world that are so close to and support each other,” President Aliyev noted.
“We share common views on the issues discussed. All these issues are resolved,” said the president pointed out the successful development of political relations between the two countries.
“High-level mutual visits are made between the two countries. I’ve twice visited Turkey this year. Ministers, other officials frequently meet,” said the head of state.
Azerbaijan and Turkey also support each other within international organizations, President Aliyev stressed.
