Azerbaijan declares CNN host persona non grata

CNN host, American chef Anthony Bourdain has been included in the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s list of people declared persona non grata for illegally visiting the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia, Hikmat Hajiyev, Foreign Ministry spokesman, tweeted on Thursday.

“Anthony Bourdain has been declared persona non grata for violation of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and laws of Azerbaijan,” Hajiyev wrote.

Anthony Bourdain earlier announced through social networks that he had visited Shusha in October for his TV show “Parts Unknown” on CNN.
