Over the 25-year period of diplomatic relations between the two countries, nearly 7,000 Azerbaijanis have studied in the U.S. within the framework of various education exchange programs, U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta said an the U.S. Education Fair in Baku on Oct. 20, APA reported.
The ambassador said that representatives of 11 different universities from various parts of the U.S. are taking part in the fair.
“The purpose of the exhibition is to familiarize Azerbaijanis with the ways to get education in the U.S. and provide assistance to hem in this regard. Educating in the U.S. in the fields of art, foreign languages ​​and technology, students can build a bridge between the countries and help Azerbaijan build its own strong, stable and prosperous future,” Cekuta added.
