People's Artist of Azerbaijan, well-known announcer Rafig Huseynov, who is suffering from cancer, will be taken to Germany for treatment, his wife Sabina Huseynova told APA.
According to Huseynova, the people’s artist will undergo treatment in a clinic in Düsseldorf.
“The documentation work is over, and the clinic has already responded to our request. We will leave for Germany next week,” she said.
Sabina Huseynova said she hopes that the problems with her husband’s health will be eliminated after receiving treatment in Germany. “We are given great attention. The Ministry of Health has addressed all the issues upon the instruction of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva.”
She added that Rafig Huseynov is currently being treated in the intensive care unit of Central Hospital of Oil Workers in Baku.
The people’s artist underwent surgery several times in Turkey.
