Azerbaijan is an important country for Poland, said Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan is an energy supplier to Eastern Europe, Waszczykowski said addressing a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku on Wednesday, APA reported.
He also noted that a safe country like Azerbaijan could be of interest to Polish tourists.
“We discussed cooperation within the Eastern Partnership. There will be a summit next month where we will discuss and expand cooperation within this group. Both countries support peace and security in the region,” the Polish FM added.
