In the eight months of 2017, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and US increased 7 percent to $416 million, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahil Babayev said at Azerbaijan-US business forum.
According to him, the relations between the two countries have 25-year history: “These relations have always dynamically developed. Today, the investments made by the US in Azerbaijan reach $13 billion. Azerbaijan has also made significant investments in the US. For instance, SOFAZ’s investments are one of them”.
The deputy minister noted that 235 US companies operate in Azerbaijan: “Today, there is a great demand for Azerbaijan’s agricultural products in the world. We’ll be able to expand our potential in this direction and invite US partners to this issue”.
The Azerbaijan-US business forum has been attended by more than 150 businessmen from industry, agriculture, tourism, logistics and other fields.
