On October 23-24, Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Masoud Karbasian will be visiting Azerbaijan, Mohammad Reza Najafi, spokesman for the Iranian Embassy in Baku, told APA.
During the visit Karbasian will meet with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev, the spokesman said.
“The meeting will focus on the development of economic cooperation between the two countries. Karbasian is also expected to meet with President Ilham Aliyev,” he added.
Najafi ntoed that this will be Karbasian’s first visit to Azerbaijan as the new co-chair of the Azerbaijani-Iranian Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation.
