An analysis of the data bank on domestic violence in Azerbaijan shows that 85.5 percent women face domestic violence in the country, Aynur Veysalova, a member of the information and analytical department at the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, told APA.
According to her, domestic violence is also experienced by men in Azerbaijan. “Every member of the family can be a victim of domestic violence, including men," Veysalova stated.
Veysalova also noted the existence of cases of domestic violence against minors.
