Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the newly-appointed ambassador of Greece to the country, Nikolaos Kanellos, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told APA.
Nikolaos Kanellos presented a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Mammadyarov.
Minister Mammadyarov congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him every success in his future activities.
Ambassador Kanellos noted that he would spare no efforts to contribute to further enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries during his diplomatic mission.
At the meeting views were also exchanged on development of cooperation between the countries in energy, transport, tourism, culture and other spheres.
