Georgian MIA releases statement regarding situation in Kumurdo village

Ministry of Internal Affairs (MI) released a statement regarding the situation in Kumurdo village of Georgia’s Samtskhe-Javakheti region, APA reports quoting Apsny.ge.

According to the statement, law enforcers have not arrested anybody in relation to the incident in the village of Kumurdo; two people were summoned for questioning and they have already left the police station.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the situation in the village of Kumurdo has been defused. “Interior Minister Giorgi Mghebrishvili arrived in the village in the shortest time. He met with the local population. At this time, the situation is defused in the village of Kumurdo," reads the statement released by the agency.
