Belarus says supplies of medicines to Azerbaijan increase

Belarus and Azerbaijan have established all-round cooperation, including in the health sector, Health Minister of Belarus Valery Malashko, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, told reporters on Thursday, APA reported.

Malashko noted that there is an increase in the supplies of medicines to Azerbaijan from Belarus.

According to him, the exchange of information and experience in the field of medicine is expanding year by year between the two countries. The minister hailed an increase in joint operation and mutual visits of doctors.

Malashko also pointed to the development of cooperation in such areas as oncology, organ transplantation and cardiology.

“This successful cooperation will benefit our peoples. Along with pharmaceutical companies, medical specialists and doctors from Belarus are represented at this year’s medical exhibition in Azerbaijan,” he added.
