Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin welcomes the creation of ‘Moscow-Baku axis’, said Aleksandr Dugin, head of the Centre of Geopolitical Expertise.
He made the remarks at an international conference “The Moscow-Baku Axis: Towards a New Caucasus Geopolitics” that kicked off in Moscow on Thursday, an APA correspondent reported from Moscow.
Chairman of the Defense Committee of the State Duma and former commander of the airborne troops of the Russian Federation Vladimir Shamanov also favor the creation of the ‘Moscow-Baku axis’, added Dugin.
“Rogozin and Shamanov sent greetings to the conference participants, mentioning that the United Russia Party supports the Moscow-Baku strategic axis,” he said.
