False reports by The Guardian on the alleged arms deal between Russia and Azerbaijan should be regarding as increasing pressure on Russia’s allies, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry told a briefing on Friday, an APA correspondent reported from Moscow.
Russia is often subjected to pressure in the field of information, said Zakharova.
“I think this is informational pressure which is exerted in several directions. Russian journalists are under pressure, they are driven out of the information space. This is done in various ways. All this, of course, is due to fake news. We try regularly to react to such fake news,” she added.
