Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order for the continuation of the reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems in the country’s Salyan.
Under the order, 11.8 million manats were allocated to Azersu OJSC in order to ensure the continuation of the restoration work.
The Finance Ministry is instructed to provide appropriate funding.
The Cabinet of Ministers is due to solve issues arising from the order.
The order says that as a result of complex measures taken in the country within the framework of state programs approved by relevant presidential decrees on socioeconomic development of regions in order to improve the drinking water supply of population, the drinking water supply and sewerage infrastructure of the regions were reconstructed in line with modern requirements and significant achievements were gained in the field of continuous drinking water supply of residents.
