Turkmenistan intends to expand relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey in the economic, political and energy spheres, said Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
Meredov made the remarks at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani and Turkish counterpart in Baku, Azerbaijan on Wednesday, APA reported.
According to him, the parties discussed the preparatory work in connection with the forthcoming summit of heads of state in Turkmenistan.
The minister said that this year the countries mark the 25th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, which they are keen to develop.
