Therefore, after I found out about this, I immediately gave an order and sent the head of the city executive power. As a result, such a wonderful public place was created,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with residents of the building meant for the teaching staff of Baku State University, APA reported.
"Of course, if large multi-storey buildings were built here, this would create problems for people living in the neighborhood. Therefore, a new park has been created on this territory of our city, and I think this is a very significant event. Once again I want to say that this park has a special history, and it will be a lesson for all structures, companies, and businessmen that if you cut down a tree, you won’t be able to get away with a fine only,” he said.
