"Analysis of the materials shows that there is incompleteness in the distribution of lands and inconsistencies between the actual locations of lands with lands actually used by citizens," said Chairman of State Property Issues Committee of Azerbaijan Republic Karam Hasanov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to results of socio-economic development in the first half of 2017 and objectives for the future, APA-Economics reports

According to him, in some farms where land reform is not yet completed, the relevant work is carried out through the results of work on cadastral accounting: “The long-term problems with the land of more than 1000 families in Khachmaz, Siyazan, Imishli and Beylagan regions were solved within the framework of taken measures taken,."

K. Hasanov said that inaccuracies concerning the boundaries of some administrative-territorial districts led to problems that are solved jointly with the relevant agencias.

The head of the committee also said that digitization of orthophotomaterials has been completed and relief maps have been prepared covering the territory of 4.1 million hectares.

According to K. Hasanov, work on cadastral registration of lands will be completed by 2020. In addition, on the basis of accurate cadastral records, digital maps for municipalities will be prepared.
