Talks are underway regarding the extradition of Fetullah Gulen, the US-based cleric and leader of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), to Turkey, Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral said on Wednesday.
He made the remarks at a press conference dedicated to the 1st anniversary of the failed July 15 coup attempt in Turkey, APA reported.
The ambassador urged Turkey’s allies to fulfill their commitments in this issue.
“Unfortunately, we don’t see from other countries the sensitivity that Azerbaijan shows in this issue,” he said.
Ozoral stressed that after the attempted coup, Turkey’s economy has grown and there has been a decent fight against terrorism.
