By granting the status of public legal entity to universities, the process of changing legal-organizational form and bringing it into line with the country’s law is underway, Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on Thursday, APA reported.
Jabbarov said that as part of this process, the internal management of universities is undergoing changes.
“Proper amendments are being made to the charters and new management structures are being applied,” he added.
Under the presidential order, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Baku State University and Azerbaijan State University of Economics have been changed to public legal entities.
