Armenia concerned over Russia’s selling weapons to Azerbaijan

Armenia is concerned over Russia’s selling weapons to Azerbaijan, Armenian defense minister Vigen Sargsian said at the press conference, APA reports citing news.am.

Vigen Sargsyan, has a negative outlook on weapons’ supplies to Azerbaijan.

“Armenia gets weapons from Russia, we acquire them at the RF domestic prices,” Vigen Sargsyan stated. “It’s an important market to us.”

A planned delivery of the latest Russian military equipment to Azerbaijan was carried out in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement and within the framework of successfully developing military-technical cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation on June 24. A large batch of modern weapons arrived at the port in Baku, will be sent to the frontline zone in the near future. These weapons will strengthen the combat and maneuver capabilities of the forward-based units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan to defeat armored vehicles, engineering and fortification structures, low-speed air targets, military personnel and other military facilities of the enemy.
