There was not the slightest problem during the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Baku on May 12-22, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov said Tuesday.
He made the remarks at a final press conference on the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, APA reported.
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games were held at a higher level than the Rio Olympics, the minister stressed.
Rahimov recalled that Azerbaijan took the lead in medal standings with 75 gold medals.
He said that 70 percent of the countries participating in the Games won medals.
The minister added that all the athletes of the competing countries were satisfied with the organization of the Games. He noted that teams of several countries will stay in the Athletes' village until May 25.
