Islamic Solidarity Games: Traffic movement on special lanes in Baku restricted

The restriction on traffic movement on special lanes designated in Baku for the upcoming 4th Islamic Solidarity Games came into force on May 5.

Administrative penalties will be imposed on drivers of other vehicles, except those involved in the fourth Islamic Solidarity Games, for the use of the special lanes, APA reported.

Under the relevant order signed by the Cabinet of Ministers, special traffic lanes will be available in Baku from May 5 to 25 in connection with the Games.

Special lanes will be available in the following streets and avenues:

Ziya Bunyadov avenue, Baku ring road, Salyan highway, Bibiheybat road 1, Bibiheybat road 2, Neftchilar avenue, Gara Garayev avenue (the entire road), Ataturk avenue, Fatali Khan Khoyski avenue, Vagif avenue, Hanifa Alasgarov street, Tbilisi avenue, Abdulvahab Salamzade street and Boyukshor highway.
