The State Fire Protection Service of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations has held a special tactical training on fire extinguishing and rescue in connection with the upcoming Islamic Solidarity Games.
In the initial phase, the trainings included tasks of extinguishing a fire and evacuating people from a hotel, providing first aid to them.
In the second (practical) phase, the State Fire Protection Service’s personnel performed tasks of tasks of extinguishing a fire and evacuating people from a hotel, providing first aid to them, with the involvement of Special Risk Rescue Service forces and special equipment pieces and manpower.
Overall, the trainings involved six special equipment pieces and 55-person manpower of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games will be held on May 12-22 in Baku. About 6,000 athletes from 57 countries will compete during the Games.
